About Lamar Smith

Lamar Smith, a Hilton Head native, has joined Weichert Realtors® - Coastal Properties. He is a licensed South Carolina NAR Member and also a licensed NAR Member in the state of California. He served the community of Sacramento for 25 years with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, as Deputy Sheriff. Before he transitioned to California, Lamar proudly served this community as a Hilton Head Island firefighter with Sea Pines Forest Beach Fire Department and then Hilton Head Island Fire and Rescue.

 

Now that Lamar has returned to the Lowcountry, he is looking forward to sharing his knowledge of the island and assisting clients in their search for the perfect property.

 

He also looks forward to being an active member of the Hilton Head community, as well as a trusted adviser for all of your real estate needs.

 

Lamar’s years spent as deputy sheriff helped him gain important skills that allowed him to provide the best service to his real estate clients. He prides himself on having a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Lamar’s goal is to make each client feel comfortable and protected in the buying, selling, leasing, or investment process by providing clear communication and updates along the way. He will also give service with concern.

 

In his spare time, Lamar enjoys reading, BBQ, and spending quality time with family and friends.
